Welcome to the DDS Scholarship Website

DDS is a small scholarship foundation; started in 2014 by Dannie/Doris Smith and is classified by the IRS as a 501(c)3 non-profit tax exempt organization under Partners in Progress Inc.  We offer financial assistance to students who are planning a secondary education or vocational training.  We partner with businesses and individuals to help students who are motivated and dedicated to pursuing a college degree or a vocational certificate.

Eligibility Requirements

US Citizenship

High School Diploma /GED

Minimum GPA 3.0 for high school/

Vocational or trade School Students

Minimum GPA for College students 2.5

Wilcox County, Alabama Resident

College Freshman/Sophomore

Descendants of founders grandparents' e'g

Polly/Shepard Savage

Fundraisers

There will be a fundraising event 

at 

867 County Rd 59 Pine Apple, AL 

for the DDS Scholarship Fund

on

Sunday March 30th at 2pm.

Mrs. Sharon Chrishon will be the speaker.  

There will be door prizes and Refreshments will be served.
